Graphics File Tips

At Hightech Signs, we try to work with the graphics you already have whenever  possible.

Sometimes we can directly import your files, which will give  us a clearer understanding of what you are looking for in your sign.

The files that we can directly import are IBM EPS (Encapsulated Post Script) files (with the extension .EPS). We can use PC Adobe Illustrator and Aldus Freehand files as long as all type has been converted to paths, and the files are saved as Illustrator or Freehand files.

We can convert Mac files from Adobe Illustrator and Aldus Freehand as long as all type has been converted to paths. Quark Xpress files also be converted as long as they are saved as EPS files. This is because Macs use postscript fonts. IBM PCs use True Type fonts. The two are not compatible with one another.

Photoshop files can be imported if they are saved as either TIFF or EPS files.

If you have some other format, or software, that you are using, please call or e-mail us before sending artwork. We do have other options that may work for you.

If you have any questions, please call or e-mail us with your questions.
